is a si cluster swappable into a dx?
i got a si cluster i think from a crx. i tried putting it in my 89 dx and the tach dont work and the cel comes on. i see a third plug to go into middle of back. help please.

they work but you gotta stay within certain years.
example. 88-89 SI dx hf are all plug n play
90-91 SI dx hf are all plug n play
now if you take one from an 88-89 and try it in a 90-91 or viseversa, you will need to do some minor rewiring as the pinouts are a bit different. HTHs
