steering column question
if you want a tilt wheel, why not just use a CRX Si column? then it's sure to fit.
But just so you know, there's more to it then just hte column.

It sounds like a winner....I will post the results after I do my car this morning
its one of my 'pet' projects for the day. I took the steering assembly from
the parts car and will place it into my HF rex.

The si steering column will work...the only problem is that the key cylinder
assemblyis attached with 'shear bolts'....i did not see a way to work around
that so I tossed the column, oh well.

I put a tilt column from a 88 CRX DX in my 91 Std hatch.Goes right in,no problems.I had to use the CRX ignition switch cause my Civic one wouldn't fit the CRX column, but the CRX switch would fit the Civic coulumn.Ah yeah, and a mighty useful tip...you remove the pinch bolt from INSIDE the car...lol.
