Im thinking, cf hatch, with cf wing = at least 25lbs
use stock glass.. go to a wind shield place.. and get them to move the other one over..

Wow... Can someone tell me why thats cheaper than a hood? I would think it'd be harder to make that mold than a mold for a hood..

Gay.

I bet 99% of those will end up on show and street cars.

True as I cannot think of any racing organization that it would be legal for. Maybe USTCC?

Do they have any pics of the bottom and the mounting brackets? It looks good and it would save weight but how much stronger is it than the stock hatch. Also I think it would require hatch straps.

Is it possible to use the oem glass on that? Wouldnt it cause a lot of stress on the cf mold?

The CF hatch will shoot up fast if you "Pop the trunk." It looks funky? CF hoods look funky.

I wonder what the weight savings would be using the oem glass, the glass is probably what would make the difference.

If your going to run glass on a cf hatch, you have just declared yourself either show car or cf ***** I would just get lexan since your going that far to get a cf hatch anyways.

I like it. Might not be legal for some sanctioning bodies, but I assume it would be good for some weight savings for us drag racers. And it would match my hood nicely.
