Hi, The stock engine in my 1999 LX accord is giving me a hard time. I have absolutely no power at 3500rpm in 3rd and 4th gear. When I says no poer, it means that the car will not accelerate over 3500 rpm... I I pus it , the engine start to hesitate like a pig. Just for your info, it can take me over a minute, to gain 5mph in 3rd at oaver 3500 rpm...

Everything seems ok, the engine, is burning rougly half liter every 2000miles.

what can be my problem.

is the check engine light on?

will it rev over 3500 in 1st, 2nd gear? manual or auto tranny?

how many miles do you have?

it's possibly ignition related. plugs, coil, cap, wires.
