are spl subs good for listening to rap music?

I don't know. That response seems ver funny at this time in the morning.

The use for music depends on the sub and the enclosure. If you can be a little more specific with the sub brand, model then we may be able to help you more. Most spl subs can sound ok in a well designed enclosure, but if you want to hear music then why get an spl sub to begin with. You may want an sql sub

i like my bass with details and not just just fart out a single bass note. rap music still has details in bass believe it or not.

That is definately an SQ sub. Unless you get about 20 of them. Then you can have an sql setup

The reason I have a lot of posts is because I got help from people on this forum, and I feel like I should help others. Ever heard of a hobby? this is what I do with my friends. I would also like to stop argueing, just sometimes things just need to be said.

Not to flame but:

I work full time
I take classes full time
I work on both my car and my brother's car
I hang out with friends quite often, playin pool or eating wings
Car clubs are typically ghey. Just hang with friends and work on cars, you don't need a "club" -- the only "clubs" i hang out with are SCCA guys and Penn State's SAE car team building the SAE car.
I currently have a GPA of 4.0 in college.
Look how many posts I have... sorta ruins your whole profile, huh?
