Market search: EGT probes
My FSAE team may be able to supply EGT probes/monitors at significantly reduced prices. The monitor would probably be a digital output (like a clock) of temperature in degrees C or F (undecided, may even be switchable). I want to see what kind of price we should target. This is bassically to get an idea how low we have to go to decide how many we would need to make to turn a profit.
Please choose the highest price you would pay to get a EGT guage with probe (be honest, if it is too low we will definatly not be producing them).

I voted $60. Not sure if it's a lowball. I guess it would depend on the quality of the product. I'd be willing to pay more for a quality product that I know works.

Yea....it would be nice to see a prototype or something. The digital display would be nice.

that is up to the guys designing it
I try to have a hand in it, but don't know enough. We were just discussing the marketability in our last meeting so I decided to do a little research.
I'll try to find out, and I'll get a prototype pic up as soon as one is done.
