Default New motor has a new nickname - stuttering stanley

Cliff notes: When car's cold at 6000rpm in 1st gear under WOT, feels like it hits a fuel cut. When car is warm, the 6000rpm fuel cut goes away and on a 1-2 fast shift followed by immediate full throttle, the car hits the same similar-to fuel cut feeling (the shift lands appx 4800rpm).

The full story in detail

K well i got the new motor in... Only code it threw was the iacv valve because i had the wrong plug in it, so i shortly fixed that - No codes... great so now lets start the break in.

I let it idle to the "warm" position and i drove it pretty easy for the first 100 miles, and i'd do the occasionaly 2nd and/or 3rd gear pull to redline then let off gas and let the transsmission slow the car down to about 1500rpm and then i'd cruise and drive normally. At about 250 miles i decided to punch it through 1st, 2nd, 3rd - then slow the car down from 3rd to 1500 - downshift into 2nd slow to 1500, then cruise

Great plan, eh? Well when i shifted at redline in 1st gear to 2nd (fast shift with immediate gas pedal application) the [shitty] ls transmission placed the shift down to about 4800 then as soon as i gave it gas it feels like it's hitting a premature fuel cut - then i rememberd i still had the 2 step colder worn to **** plugs from when i was turboed in there... so i swapped them out for some bosch platinum standard plugs. Didn't fix a damn thing.

So i tried to see what it was like before it was at its normal 100% warm temp... So i punched it in 1st gear at a lower temp and it hits a "fuel cut" at about 6000rpm (goes away if you let the car warm up).

What the hell could be the problem: timing, fuel, ignition?

Here's my setup:
b18a block in a 94 integra LS
Darton sleeved block to 81mm
SRP 9.2:1 pistons
Eagle Rods
Top line bearings
Stock LS head

DSM 450cc injectors
Stock fuel pump
Uberdata
(all from turbo setup)

have you checked your timing w/ a timing gun?

this is how i see it. your entire fuel / ecu system is the same as it was before, and there was no problem before. therefore that should be eliminated as a variable of error. therefore the only thing that HAS changed is your timing. This imho is the problem! Either that or an ignition related problem that has occurred. You have no codes, and if its just dying in the top end, its not going to be a mechanical error from the new motor's assembly becuase quite frankly it would be a LOT more noticable or concretely identifiable!

berry berry true. I honestly don't understand how timing can make THAT much of a difference. The distributor is set straight up and down and i put the timing belt on with the cams/crank lined up properly.

However there is the thought in the back of my head that i have a littttle bit too much slack in my timing belt - im not sure... sam, get ur *** up here so we can finish ur car and so u can help me finalyze mine

I decided to re-check the steps i took for installing the timing belt w/ c-speedracing and i noticed that that after the belt was in place, they put the crank pulley bolt in the crank, and rotated the crank counter-clockwise then with the re-maining slack, upped the tensioner pulley.

I didn't do that

If my intake cam advanced or "set back" one in comparison with the exhaust, could this be the problem? ehhh?? EHH!!?
