How important is clutch break-in?
I kinda laid on the throttle a couple times after only 65 miles on the new ACT clutch. ACT recommended 200-300 miles of break-in.
I didnt do any burn outs or scratch any gears..just laid on the throttle some while in gear.
Any harm done?

yes, you screwed it all up, now its only gonna last about 500 miles and then your going to have to change it out again...and buy a whole new clutch
haha, i'm just messin with ya, shouldn't do any harm, but just don't do it again

Actually...I just got off teh phone with ACT.
They said stomping on it AFTER the clutch is already engaged does no harm. He said you can wind out any gear.
He stressed being easy on the engagment..especially 1st gear. No burn outs and no scratching 2nd/3rd..make sure the enganment is smooth the first 300 miles.

Damn. The I f*&#ed up my clutch.
I kept stalling and nearly stalling with mine. Totally wasn't used to the pedal after putting it in. Have ~750miles on it now... it feels alright. Waited 650 miles before trying anything.
I'm going to adjust my pedal so that I stop pressing it down all the way when it doesn't need it... that's what screws me up. Push it down, get ready to go and I've reving up and letting out the clutch when it isn't at the point it grabs yet.
