guys i fried the bering in my distributer and i dont know how to replace it.

i am in need of a car that runs....
if any of you in the vegas are have a 1st gen b16 dist, or even a 90-91 ls distributer, please let me know.

I'm in vegas, and have an obd-0 B16 dist. Are you sure it's the bearing?

What are the symptoms of your prob?

the bearing was totally fried , but the new distributer has not solved 100% of the problem. put in a brand new cap and roter. i have a couple extra coils, i will try those. also i will check my plugs.

do you have any clue as to where i can get a set of bkr7 plugs, and a new set of wires around here?

after i get it all figured out i will bring the bitch buy so you can check it out.

I might have a set of those plugs, brand new lying around, I bought a ton a while back when nitrous, or NAAAWWZZZZ was "in".

Try and explain the car's symptoms a little better.

 

ya it does run.

it acts like it has every other time that i have had problem getting spark.
it hesitates, and cuts out. throttle response sucks, really slow to rev.

i know its getting fuel pressure, i checked the guage on my fuel rail.

im sure its something pretty simple, but maybe not just the distributer...all though the bearing is shot and it wouldnt run before.

im hoping i get it figured out today, i have a lot of things to do tomarrow.

now im getting code 22 which is vtec pressure valve.
im thinking that it may have something to do with the location of my oil feed line.
i will give you a call tomarrow.
