Default radiator fan question

i have a turbo integra and just recently bought a new 2 core radiator from radiatorbarn.com my stock fan would not work with the new application so i went to pepboys and bought a HAYDEN fan similar to slimline. I installed it and hooked the wires back up and i noticed that the fan never comes on at all. When is it supposed to come on? people say that it most likely isnt coming on because of the fact that i have a bigger radiator than stock now and it does a better job at cooling now so i dont need a fan?

hmmm

Turn your A/c on and see if it'll come on.
If not, try jumping the harness connector with a paperclip or small wire. If it comes on, the thermoswitch is bad. If it doesn't, something in the wiring is bad.

Jump the harness connector off the thermoswitch.

Also even though you dont have A/C turn it on anyways. For some reason mine will come on and stay on when the A/C button is pushed.
