civic brake system into my teg
i was wondering if i can put non-abs civic brake booster/brake lines/and all other components into my integra to make my abs car a non- abs? there's a civic in my local junk yard with all in tact. i have a revhard turbo kit and would like to use the space for a custom intake to my turbo to draw air efficiently. thanx. please dont flame and please dont tell me to keep my abs...i already made up my mind as to taking out my abs...i just dunno which way is best for me.
Yep, they will all go right in. What model Civic are you grabbing brakes from?
I wouldn't downgrade your brakes if it's something like a VX, CX, DX. But if its an EX/Si non-ABS then yes it will all go in.
I would also recommend keeping your brake booster/master cylinder, being that is the 15/16's, and your brake lines are formed for the ABS master cylinder.

Could be a DX. I just would not go below 10.3" brakes that comes factory on your car.
Otherwise braking is going to suck!

did you not read what he typed?
but why not get the braking system from an integra RS, they're non-abs.

i bought an integra from one of the h-t member w/ civic's front brake install...the whoole car rattle and shake everytime i stop. It seem like the brake is struggling to stop the car. I will upgrade the braking system to aem big brake kit though. just wanna let you know.
sounds more like you have warpped rotors dc2uner.
and i don't thik dniedaccess is looking to change his rotors and calipers. just converting over to non-abs. he is asking if the components under the engine bay, and hard lines will work.
