just wondering, is it clearly noted on the part which is which? i'm planning on assisting on some fairly complicated tranny open heart surgery and was wondering how one keeps the two items distinguished from another...
any physical features that distinguish the 2?
anyway, thanks in advance. and cheers from BB6-land

jdm one is smaller and the pinion gear is larger. opposite on the usdm ones. besides how could you screw it up if you were taking out the usdm and putiing int he jdm, just sperate the parts and don't get em confused

yeah, i figured as much when i thought about it, but i wanna be able to verify the part when it comes from the seller to make sure it's the right part, and that i didn't get shafted.
Well count the teeth on the pinion and gear then divide the big one with the small one and you will get an exact number IE 4.40 or a 4.78. and the 4.78 has a sleeve that goes over it and the 4.40 doesent on the shaft.
