can someone come up with a list of everything i will need for a b16(ls/vtec) swap into a 88 civic dx w/ auto tranny.....

Your list is waiting for you, all you have to do is click on the "Search" link in the upper righthand corner of the browser window you're currently looking at.

for the Auto to Manual-need M-T pedal assembly and shift linkage
DX to MPFI Wiring changes. Then add the 4 addl wires for the vtec sol, KS, Oil
pressure switch, and 2nd o2 (providing its a OBD0 B16 ECU)
B series Trans, axles, mount kit of some sorts. The engine all depends on how well you want it
