replace input shaft bearing or find another s20 (z6 or si) tranny
Trying to save some money when my tranny went bad in my 95 civic ex i replaced it with 1.5L y8... Because I didnt have time to crack open my tranny and replace the syncros and got y8 for $50. I hate it, and now the input shaft needs to be replaced. Should I find a z6 tranny or fix this one(y8)? Keep in mind I'm still broke but have time now.

replace the bearing its not as hard as it looks but it will take about two full long days going at a slow pace.. you can follow these directions here>> https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=596873
or you can get the helms manual in my sig and go to the manual trans part and follow the book, same directions...
