Default firing order

I just swapped my hatch with a GSR. I nee to know the firing order. Can you tell me what cylinder numbers are what from the cam gears and tell me what places to put the plugs onto the distributor if you are lookng form the passenger side at the dist. it is a square pattern. thanks, i appreciate it!!

Plugs are always numbered starting at the pulleys.
Every inline 4cyl I've ever known has firing order 1-3-4-2.

On my '95 GS-R, looking at the distributor it's like this...

Yep, it's 1-3-4-2. And yes, like jimblake said, an engine's cylinders are normally numbered starting at the drive pulley side going back to the tranny side.
