Default More 2002 Mugen Integra Type R info/pics

If you haven't visited http://www.vtec.net yet then here's a little info on the new Mugen Integra Type R.

At a recent event at the AutoGallery in Tokyo, Mugen presented the Integra Type-R, Stream and Fit. But the StepWagon seemed to be the star of the show.
A couple of notes on the Integra parts, the Mugen ECU has 10 different maps for the i-VTEC engine compared to just one map for the VTEC engine. Their hood weighs 2/3 less than the factory hood and the purchase price for all the parts combined comes in over
$10,000. Start saving your pennies now ;-)

No Info on the Rollcage yet.

Rest of the car looks very cool, but I don't like the rollcage design. Those bends up front compromise rollover protection. The bars should be fairly straight with one clean bend instead of the "S" curve.

You know warren, I knew there was something fishy about that roll-cage. Couldn't put my finger on it. Thanks.

it should be ok..the main hoop over the drivers head still looks decent..they designed it so you dont have to cut into your dash unlike their bar for the dc2..they say you still can use your rear seats..i guess its not the roll bar for the hard core racer..just the weekend warrior who wants a little extra piece of mind at the track..im sure for the price of it though..you could get a full cage...hahaha
