SMSP/AN-R/DTR/Headertech for S2000?
I was wondering if any of these companies produce headers for the s2000 and if so do they make significant gains like they do on B-series motors? Or is the s2000 so efficient its not worth making a header for it (and i know toda, amuse and other co's already make headers for them)?
Fujitsubo makes one. It's going to make more power simply by design. You've got less weight, optimal piping, and hand-polished ports that encourage flow.

I haven't had the chance to install one on an S2000 yet. If you documented the process we could work out a deal for it.
Normal price is $877 plus shipping.

hytech makes a header
the s2000 header is good to begin with. keep in mind teh a/f ratio gets completely changed when u run a good header on the s2k. you will need to have an aem ems or something decetn. (no vafc)

SuperEX is the name of their header line. They make headers for practically every Japanese car in existance.
This is an example of their DC2 SuperEX header:

oh god, I'm cumming.
I remember the first time I saw a picture of an
SMSP header
and I litterally blew it right there, at work. The fact that it was in bed already didn't help ward off the fantasy.

I was amazed at the quality of the comptech header we put on our s2k. it's not "jdm" but i dont really give a ****. i love comptech parts.
At some point or another I have tested the following S2000 headers:
Mugen
Comptech
DC
Toda
Spoon
The only two that produce consistent and measurable gains across a wide rpm range are the Mugen and Toda.
The Spoon produces some gains down lot and a little up top, but there is such a huge hole in the torque curve at 7000 rpm that even lots of tuning can not get rid of it. The DC and the Comptech simply didn't do anything. Even though they are quite different than stock, no measurable gains (although the DC looks like it might benefit a higher hp car).
The Mugen produced solid torque gains from 2000 rpm to 7000 rpm, up to 7-8 lbs-ft in places. By 8000 rpm numbers were back to stock and above that even a little below stock, but the car will be faster.
The Toda, which is the newest header out there, matched or beat the Mugen everywhere. Up top it creamed it and made some nice peak gains.

haha, now that i see that pic of the SuperEX...i finally know what the header that came on my SiR2 is!! It had that same flange with the same name on it. hell yeah!</TD></TR></TABLE>
Most JDM headers have the jasma stamp if thats what you are talking about?

all street legal ones have it. it's their equivalent of the carb sticker
but i was saying, you can tell by the flange on the header...that i had that same one.
