When removing the carpet from an integra, is their anyway of not breaking the plastic screws on the panels which hold down the carpet and are located at the bottom in between the seat and the door.

I already broke two of the plastic screws on the driver's side panel trying to take it off. There is silver round aluminum piece that is connected to the plastic screw securing the carpet in place.
