i have an ej and i was wondering if the ek front bumper would fit

As long as its the 96-98 bumper.

 

yes as long as you swap 96-98 for 96-98 and 99-00 for 99-00.

EJ, also known as an EK coupe.....my VIN is an EJ too man, but nobody seems to call em' that...

Why do people continually use the wrong chassis codes? Why do people use the stupid chassis codes at all?

Just tell us the God damned year, number of doors, and trim level of your car.

An "EJ" could be either of the two USDM 1993-1995 coupes, or any USDM 1996-2000 Civic except for the Si.

And what do you mean by "EK"? Do you mean the '96-98 USDM bumper, the '96-98 JDM bumper, or the '99-00 bumper?

Sorry I went off the deep end, the chassis code thing always sets me off.

As daklown mentioned, if you want to use the '99-00 bumper on your '96-98 Civic, you will need all of these '99-00 items:

- bumper
- hood
- fenders
- headlights
- grille

 

daym i could of sworn they fit right on...oh well thanks a lot for the info

 

you could put the JUST the bumper on if you are willing to take a dremel to the 99-00 bumper and take off some plastic it will fit i know a guy that did it

You wouldn't be able to have a grille then.

 

well he sure as hell had a grille in his car i believe it was the 96-98 grille but i might be wrong and i didn't see any problem with it fitting
