98 H22 USDM OS Pistons in my 95 H22..?
Hey Guys
Hopin 4 a bit of info...
I bought .25 OS pistons (Thought they were for my 95
...turns out they were for a 98
..Only difference i can see is the wrist pin setup
...I already had the block bored to that set of pistons
Can I make them work?
I've heard of "rebushing?"
...But could someone with a bit more experience, Help me out with this one...
Hate to buy another set of pistons..if I dont need to
Thx

Some have machined them to fit the different wrist pin set up. Personally, I would go with a set of Eagle rods or something along those lines that will not require machine work. I put in the Type-S pistons, which have the different pin set up, and my engine builder told me he could make them work by machining the pins to fit, but, he said that could weaken them, and the better longer lasting approach would be to get rods that match up to the pistons. That would be my suggestion, and what I did.
