Default clutch problem

we just got done putting a f22b1 with a h23 tranny into my friends 92 prelude. we got everything in and we was going to bleed the clutch but it won't build pressure.

we checked for holes in the line and it is fine. we have clutch fluid. i could think of anything else.

any clues?

It took me a good 10 minuites (not an exaggeration either) to FINALLY get back pressure when I was bleeding mine.

Keep trying. That's all I can advise.

And as the manual says, when your pumping the pedal, do it SLOWLY, as it only sucks in a tiny bit at a time, and if you bring the pedal back too quickly, you won't get any fluid into the line.

argh had the same problem with my 91 lude... bleeding the clutch is a pain... takes so long and you have to be really careful and patient.

i'd give you more advice but i gave up and got a shop to do it with their suction machine...found out afterwards i was doing everything right just needed more time.

well we got it finally.

the best way we found out to do it was:

fill the reservoir up and then open the bleeder valve. let gravity pull the fluid down. when it start to drip close up the valve and pump it like 30 times. the bleed and pump 2 or 3 more times.
