reallllllly stiff setup... but handles well. I dont recomend this for anyone who actually wants a "smooth" ride.

Do you have the Skunk2's with Koni Yellows?

The reason I ask is this - I noticed that a lot of people say "Skunk2's are harsh, super stiff, horrible for the street, etc" but the rates are NOT that bad. 400f/300r really isn't that stiff, you just need to pair them up with some capable dampers, like the Koni Yellows, or even Illuminas like I'm doing.

I don't have firsthand experience with Skunk2's and Koni Yellows, I have mine paired up with Bilsteins up front and soon to be Illuminas in the rear - the Skunk2's wouldn't fit over the Bilstein rear shocks.

From what little I've driven it on the street, with just the front setup, it doesn't feel harsh at all, just stiffer than the previous setup (which was Neuspeed Sport springs, which will be *for sale* pretty soon here - PM me if interested.)

LMAO! If you think this setup is stiff you need to try some H&R's!!!

This setup is pretty docile IMO, just firm enough to get the job done, but in no way would I view it as too stiff. If you are really after a performance spring I'd say they are too soft, if anything.

Next to H&R's and Eibach's I'd rate them as such:

H&R "RACE" springs:

Drop.................... 9.0
Performance........ 9.5
Ride..................... 5.5

Eibach Pro-kit.

Drop.................... 8.0
Performance........ 4.5
Ride..................... 9.0

Skunk 2 coil-overs:

Drop..................... 10 (adjustable)
Performance......... 7.0
Ride...................... 7.5

S2 coil-overs are pretty much middle ground, imo. Not stiff like the H&R's, but not wussy soft like the eibachs. Anyways that's just MO, HTH.

Yup...H&R spring rates on the "race" set are something like 560f/480r, something a lot stiffer like that.

Skunk2's are not that stiff at all - like I said, just depends what shocks you pair them with.
