What does a "surround sound processor" do?
I was just surfing the net and happened upon a " DWO 3S-2A SURROUND SOUND PROCE FOR 12V AUTOMOTIVE USE "
For 6 bucks. What would this do, most CD's are only stereo, would this have an effect. I have Time correction on my H/u so I am already running seperate RCA's to the EQ and Crossover and then to the amp.

alpine's surround processor is used to process 5.1 sound in a car. It accepts a fiber optic link from their DVD player. It converts the fiber link to 5.1 outputs to amps, and allows for time correct, phase shifting, etc etc. Awsome for mobile vid movies!
