Default Rota Group N v. Mugen RNR

After looking at real Mugen RNRs on the interent and in some old pics i had, I really want them. but, I know Rota makes a good copy of them. Could somebody post pics of both the Rota rim and the Mugen rim in silver? Mounted, un-mounted, I want to see the bare bones differences in these rims.
also, does anybody know the weight difference?

The RNR's are 8 pounds and the Rota's are 12 pounds. EG moderator Tom took pic of my RNR's next to the Rotas, they are in black though, I will ask Tom to post pics.

rnr have a more flat black color than the Rotas. Also, i think the real rnrs are weak at the spokes and sometimes tend to fracture(correct me if im wrong).

Sort of. They are a soft cast material. So, if your not careful they are bendable.

You just have to be very careful when driving on bad roads.

I have a set of silver RnR's up for sale right now. It seems nobody wants them. I dont know if Rota is the f***ing problem, but they sure have made an impact on mugen wheels.

Maybe it's just that people are weary of spending over $1000 for just rims on their $2500 hondas.

not to rain on your parade but the Mugen's tend to have a problem with hairline cracks around the spoke area.

So its like buying your girl a real Rolex when she gives head to other guys.. .. . its just not worth it.

Then I would have to say any mod to a honda is worthless. I just prefer Mugen over the fake stuff.

So basically is the whole thign about Mugen rims cracking what people have "heard" or is it a fact? I really doubt mugen rims crack before rota shitstreams and other rims.

They get stress cracks where the spoke meets the lip. It has happened to me. I have also seen my friends black and reds get cracks. He didnt even know his was cracked until I took a look at his rims. The person who sold them to him tried to cover it up with black marker. Does anybody know what squeeze process is?

i don't see what the problem is. If the rotas are shinier, more durable, AND cheaper...dude...this discussion should be over already
