Default Install ELectronic climate control from a V6 into a I4 LX (1999 Accord 4dr)

I want to know if it is possible to install the eletronic climate control from a V6 edition into my I4 LX. All I would have is the center display and **** module (1 piece). Is that all I need ?

Thanks

no you need the sensors that go along with it, there are 2 of them. you also need to wire them up correctly. it's a lot of work.

Automatic climate control is a really complex thing. There's alot more than just the control head, there's the sensors as mentioned above (such as a cabin temp sensor), vacuum lines and diaphrams (at least on the fords, not sure about hondas), blend doors, stratofication (sp?) doors, potentiometers.... basically an entirely different evaporator case. Also, I'm not sure about the newer Accords whether there's a water valve or not (a valve on the heater hose that opens and closes coolant flow to the heater core), but on the fords with ATC, the heater core always has hot coolant flowing through it, thus the need for the blend door to mix the hot air and cold air together to make whatever temp you want. Not so easy on a heater core with a cable operated water valve. On top of all this, you'll have an entirely different wiring harness for the vent selection, blower motor speed, temp hot/cold (since they're all on seperate plugs now, the ATC uses one)

Waaaaaaay too much work, not worth it.
