theres one on ebay. im lookin for a bigger tb than stock. is this teg one bigger and would it fit.

also would it hurt if i got my intake mani chrome dipped after i ported and polished?

this is what someone told me but not sure how true it is... The 89-91 si TB is the biggest bore that will fit the si manifold... Teg TBs fit fifth gen d series manifolds...

 

i wonder if the 87 teg mani would fit my d16 sice the teg is d16 also? then i could use that tb. but if its not any bigger it would be pointless unless the teg mani is better.

 

im 95% sure that they are the same size since the ZC uses the same Si tbody and the D16A1 is a engine based off of the ZC, thus being the same as well...

and 92+ teg tbodies fit on 92+ d-series manifolds...

that year teg is not b series, but yes you can put the 92-00 intake mani on your car, get a search for the how to on which manifold you want. I am putting the d16y8 mani from a 96-2000 civic ex mani on my d16 with an h22 tb, once you get into the 92-00 intake manis you have a lot of options for throttle bodies.
