Im guessing by looking at the size of this thing that my EGR valve is gonna have to come off. Other than throwing a code, doing this will cause any problems?
How much larger is the GE one compared to the AEM one? Are you running steel braided fuel lines or just regular stock ones?
From what i've heard in the past, some guys that block the egr valve off use a metal plate then put the egr back on top of it with the harness connected so they dont throw a code. As far as leaving it unplugged, I am not sure what will happen...

Well Ive never owned a AEM rail so I really couldnt compare. All I know is that there is no room for the rail with that egr valve there. Im using stock lines and even with ss lines you still couldnt pull it off.
Maybe these pics will help you out...
Keep in mind you can use either the top plug or the one on the side. At least, that's how the AEM one is.
If you need more detailed pictures I can post some for you tomorrow morning.

The port on the golden eagle fuel rail is on the side instead of on top like the aem, so the only way of using it is blocking the egr or you can connect the fuel line on the right side of the port.
