What would be your upper threshold on mileage for a '00 S2000? There's one local for sale with ~35k on it, but not sure if the mileage on something like that should be a concern.

 

15k miles per year is average, say the car is 3 years old 15*3= 45k...so 35k is pretty good IMO.

with hondas, 35k is nothing.

 

Yea, I wasn't too concerned with mileage, considering it is a Honda, but didn't know if there are any special concerns with regards to used S2Ks.

If I was to get one, I'd hope it last as well as my GS-R has (173k and still run hard daily)

 

i got mine with 7000 miles and a hardtop for around 26k. im sure if u look around u would find somthing you like too.

 

My '00 has 60k miles on it and she still purs like new. (Hour drive each way to work and many an afternoon mini-road trip add up quick!) I have no reservations with high-mileage Hondas. Previously I would have recommended buying one under 30k so the warranty would still be valid, but the 3 years is up now anyway so I wouldn't worry about the difference.
