Default got a question for 5 speed trannys

i was wanting to change out the fluid on my itr tranny what fluid and how much is recommended thanks

Well this has been asked many times, try using the Search function. I always use Genuine Honda tranny fluid for all my Hondas nothing else. I can't help you out on how much to use because I have never had or worked on a Type R before, but I am sure if you search you can find out.

Try using GM syncromesh Friction modified, I know its a few more $'s then honda MFT but it's well worth it, it made my 3rd gear grind go away, not to mention makes my shifter feel like butter
Make sure you get the friction modified stuff not the reagular stuff Square bottle not the round one...

I think if you rub some toast on that it should clear up the greasy...buttery feel bro.
