Default MPFI Swap

Before I start my mpfi swap tomorrow I wanted to know if I can use the existing fuel line to hook up to the mpfi fuel rail. Do I need to modify the line? Any bending or new fuel line? TIA!

The line on the left is the DX line, the line on the right is the Si type line.
It has a larger opening on one side where it bolts to the fuel rail...
You could use a die grinder to open the DX line up..
The DX line feeds through the middle while the Si line feeds through the side hence the larger opening..
see the difference?

I don't think that I changed my line when I did the D15B2 to B16A swap.

When I did my ZC Swap the DX fuel hose would not bolt to my ZC. So I got an Si fuel hose from the junk yard.

But i need this tomorrow...... would a parts store carry this? I dont have a die grinder and I dont understand why most mpfi web sites did not mention this. Is there an easier way to get this done or i have to replace the hose?

This is not a true statement, they are not all the same. I've had the DX, Si, and DA Integra fuel lines and they were all different. You could make them work but when I used the Integra line on my car the hose came in from the top instead of the bottom like it should and the hose was too short for my fuel filter to attached to the fire wall again. So do not try and use an Integra hose, everyone.

on his case... a DPFI hose going to MPFI....
what i said was that the tip(conector) (not the lenght and other stuff) fo honda hoses ca be used among others..... for example.... on a STD or DX DPFI can u can use any fuel rail and it will bolt up to the existing fuel feed line
