Default Paint Mark Removeal

Well what a great day today is. I get out of class just to see someone scraped up against my car. No real body damage, although they left a huge paint streak along the driver side of my car. I've tried to scrub it off with a brush which isn't yielding great results. I was thinking maybe Goo Gone? But i've heard that it hurts the clear coat. Anyone with suggestions on how to get it out?

I had a SMALL streak from paint recently with no dent (somewhat similar to yours), using a clay bar did the trick for me. Just make sure you re-wax the affected area.

Id say key the whole car and give your insurance company a call. *free paint job*

Haven't tried to buff it out yet. I'll try that and then if that doesn't work use the clay bar.

Haha I'd love to have the insurance company pay for a new paintjob but I've only got liablity and that's already costing me around 800 for 6 months =|

Well i just tried a little bit of goo gone on some of it and it worked. I know people use this when they take off decals, but just wanna double check is it gonna do any harm to the paint?
