taking the mounts off and the wiring harness and all the hoses will be a pain but Im sure you could do it easily with a hoist

so i would just have to disconnect the hoses and wires and unbolt the mounts and just lift the ish? i would end up getting everything mixed up when i put it back in. i probly wont even do it.

its hard to believe that i have done two motorswaps in my car already, but onto my post, its not that hard, like the guys up above said if you are really worried either take pictures or label, or even both to be really safe

My advice would be to get a Helms manual for your car if you dont already have one.

Good idea on the clutch swap, it will be worth it in the long run. Just get a clutch alinement tool,(sometimes comes with the clutch kit) and there is no way you can mess that up either. good luck, post pics when you are done

i just had a new clutch put in a while ago, but it was oem stock crapness. it starts to slip like mad after 2 runs at the track. im goin on thurs. to see if i can hit high 9s in the 8th.
but anyways. nobody knows about the tb or intake mani? i need a little extra power. but ive got a garage i can work at any time i need with any tool i can dream of. so i think the clutch will be easy. still scared to do it though.
i guess ill go out and get a helms and start lookin foward to liftin that biznatch out!

It looks almost like 99 Si Electron Pearl Blue..to me at least. VERY nice color. I would like to have my engine bay painted as well, but I can't afford to have my car down for that period of time. I'll probably just spray can it black when I swap my engine..

That is how I do it also..
I have a lift so it is super easy using the dolly to move the
engine around and then drop or raise the car..

He can always take the control arms off and clean them and paint them black if he wanted to.
