Default Anyone using Spoon Sports radiator cap, thermostat and/or thermoswitch?

Interested in finding out (before ordering it for a customer) if these Spoon items really work. Anyone?

Thanks,
mark

I had all 3, but I returned the thermoswitch because the one that was supposed to fit does not (and there is really no way without some machine work that you can get it to work correctly). My temp is a little cooler when I'm running down the highway but in stop and go traffic it's pretty much the same as it was before. The rad cap seemed to help a little but it could just be me hoping that it would do something.

Personally I could only reccommend the rad cap since there is no thermoswitch to go with the thermostat at this time.

Do you need both the thermostat and thermoswitch in order for it to be effective? I thought that if you just switched the thermostat it would work....

Yes you need them both. The thermostat will open up sooner but the coolant will get just as hot since the fan does not turn on until the coolant reaches the temperature where the stock fan switch activates.

Or you can do what I did, splice the wires or the tempature switch together so my fans run constant..
