K20 2-layer head gasket?
I've removed the centre gasket shim on the standard Honda gaskets to make a 2 layer gasket for slightly
more compression on the B series engines before.. works fine.
I was thinking about doing the same with a K20a but noticed that the centre layer blocks most of the water
passages. Anyone know if I'm going to make more problems for myself by removing this layer?
