Default Fluidyne Radiator Install (pics)

well im board so im gona put some pics up of the install i just did.

so far i cant tell a diffrence other than losing alot of room. im shure it will help when i leave my car running in 1 spot.

i was told the stock radiator fan would fit just right. but once i got it off the old radiator i noticed the bottom does not bolt on its uses clips that are on the stock radiator
i got it ghetto rigged for now. i think im just gona go buy the auto zone slim line fan that way i get some room back and it will fight right

Thanks to INVTEC for the radiator. very quck shipping

Hmm...just wondering if the reason why the fan didn't fit quite right is because you have a newer car? It took me about 20 minutes to install my fluidyne radiator and the stock fan bolted right on with no problems. It is pretty cramped but It'll do until I replace it with a slim fan.

Mine also didn't fit quite right: the block next to the upper hose connection seems to be too large, causing the fan shroud to not fit flush against the radiator at that point. My car is a 1994. I wonder if there's a difference in the fans between different model years.

I'd like to get an FAL slim fan set made specifically for Integras, but it's $300

Here's a good place to shop for Fluidyne, CSF, and Koyo aluminum radiators, as well as other aftermarket non-aluminum models if you don't want to spend as much.

looks good but should've gotton the C&R radiator instead because it already comes with a slim fan and probably save you the hassle. that's just me and my .02

We just used a couple of longer M6 bolts and some bigger washers to get the bottom firmed up.

If you want, I could send you could couple just to save you the hassle.
