Teknic freeway boots

They are on sale for 49 bucks on a website, are they any good for street riding. I guess they would be better than shoes right?

too bad youre not in the bay area....I picked up some Diadora evolution boots for $60. Suomy Gunwind helmets are $175. The distributor is trying to get rid of old stock. The company is called Gearbox.
