NCRA Season Finals This Sunday
This sunday is the NCRA season finals. This is last sanctioned Sport compact event of the year. With Paul Bhawan and Team Splitfire/JRP returning from a fantastic weekend in New Jersey last weekend, with a sunday filled with 8 second passes. Can they improve on their canadian racord and go even faster?
The All motor class gets fuller and fuller at each event, with the NCRA having only an 8 car field, and the possibility of having 10-12 cars, it measn that the all motor crowd will have to work even harder to make the show. There will only be 8 cars in the elimination round no matter how many attempt to qualify!!! This will be THE event of the season for the screamin loud all motor entries. Pro Street is again setting the bar higher at each event, with competitors like Brad Davis, gaining almost a full second this year, and Marc Kulak getting closer to the 10's all year, these are the baddest of the bad when it comes to fast street cars.
Don't forget to come out on Sunday and check out all the best that Canada's biggest and fastest sport compact drag racing series has to offer.

I ran my personal best of a 12.018 @ 111.1mph, and got 1st place in pro stock...i tried another run after that to hit 11's and my clutch was done on that run...couldn't power shift into 2nd gear, and on the return lane back i couldn't get it out of second
...Pual Bhawan ran 8.97 @ 161mph for 1st in pro compact...

Good event Clayton! really good turn out in the Pro Stock but not so good in other classes but the quaility of the races made up for it! K-Town took home 1 and 2nd in Pro Stock and first in Supper swett!!!
Congrates to all the winners but special shout out to Craig,Bruno and Ryan Maxwell
See you guys next season. Rob

Jon it was cool. There wasn't a huge turnout, so for folks who wanted to test their cars out, it was a good event. There was some serious carnage tough. A guy with a first gen talon, with a Turbo upgrade, and new ex mani, and new intake mani, and BIG shot of nitrous, had his flywheel explode. The car was one ungodly mess, hood was destroyed, tranny, roof, sunroof, and pretty much everything under the hood, except the exh mani, turbo, blowoff valve, wastegate, and IM. Everything else was pretty much destroyed. The track manager said they started picking up parts at the 1/8 th mile, and stopped well after the traps.

Yes, paul only had the one 8 second pass. He went 9.00 right off the trailer, and track conditions weren't exactly perfect. They weren't bad by any means, but they also weren't where we had seen them earlier this summer either.
