Default new fluidyne, is if ****** up??

i just got ther radiator and on the bottom one of the square mount points for the fan is like crooked and welded kinda weard. does anyone else have a radiator like this??? or should i send mine back to get fixed???

i got it off a HT member. its new never bin used, but i dont know if they will honor a warrenty

call and find out. For all it maybe worth, that little bend might be to fit in a tight place or something.

dude I dont know how else that thing could've got there unless someone ment to weld that there. The weld is almost perfect.

I'm sure that piece serves some purpose or isn't used at all.

ya thats what i figure. no one would weld it like that unless it needed to be. if they did they musta bin smoking crack

ok well i just installed the radiator and it seems to be in the right place. my stock radiator fan SUX the bottom does not have screw holes there are like litttle clips on the stock radiator. i got it ghetto rigged right now. i guess ill buy a slim line fan and put it on at a later time

That mount is correct; my Fluidyne has it as well. However, my fan bolts to it. My fan is from a '94.

That's by design. I have a Fluidyne on my '97 GSR and the lower fan mounts are exactly like that. The OEM fan (tranmission side) bolts up to those tabs, though not without a little finessing to line it up.
