I'm using a "skunk2 p28 chipped" ecu on my del sol with b16a2 swap. vtec would only engage once every start up. Let's say if I took first gear into vtec. It would kick in around 5500 rpm..and out of vtec at 5900 rpm. After that..vtec will not engage anymore unless I turn the car off and start it back up again. Anyone with this problem? Any advice? I have no problem when using the JDM P30 ecu. Vtec is working fine with the p30, cept idle problem. That's another problem.

sounds like a problem with the ECU or the "chip". I would have that looked at.

yeah, just cal them up and they can change the chip for ya. don't know how much it would cost, but i would talk to sean at skunk2 if he is still there.
