i have a 15 in kicker L5 with, 3way infinity all around for inside... have a alpine v12 mrv-t707 amp running the sub and a jbl amp running the interiors. and with only a 1 farat lightning cap... when ever i keep my system jamming for a bit i get hard starts or its completely dead... i got my alternator tested and everything was fine, so do you guys thing i need another capacitor? or do i need to change to a better battery? this is my first audio post, im a newb at it be easy on me :]

 

Caps will help drain the battery faster when the car is off. Sounds to me like you may need another battery.

and would you guys know what battery would be good? i know optimas are top leading, but im short on $ so anything under 100 or lower would be GREAT!

 

battery. Have it tested to see how much of a charge it can hold. if not then get another cap
