Do Type R's come with wheel locks from the factory or is that something i should consider??? Thanks

My dealer installed mine for "free".

 

If you really want to be safe - get two sets of wheel locks. Definitely recommended.

 

Two sets is a really good idea because a thief once removed all the lugs from a wheel on my bro's car and left the single lock there. So my bro drove off and of course the wheel fell off and he nearly got into a bad accident. Two lugs are more secure and safe especially if they are different brands.

 

If you know what you are doing you can get off wheel locks pretty easy. They are good to keep punks away though. My buddy lost his key for his and we got them off really easy....won't say how though

 

I dont know if the dealer installed them or not. I will have to check with the previous owner of the car. If not, i will go ahead and invest in two sets of locks
