Question for Canadian ITR owners
I'm just ondering how many KM do you get out of a full tank of gas? under normal driving I guess. Like regular city driving, no racing
I get around 400km to a tank of gas. Just wanted to know if this is normal and just to compare.
ps: asking Canadian owner because I want the answer in KM.

I´am from germany and we have here km too!
With a full tank i make normaly 400 km! (vtec and non vtec drive in mix)
When i drive all time without the vtec i can make until 480-500 km!
When i drive very fast i make only 300 km!

Used to be about 450 a tank but now it seems more like 400 after the final drive got put in, but maybe that's also because i can't drive anything but fast now.
I'm in vtec every day i drive it.

Do most of you find that once the gas light comes on you still have close to 10 ltrs left?? I've gone to the track before and driven all the way home (40K) and the light has been on the whole time

if you mean the light comes on constantly, I would be really
to drive 40km....
Actually, what was the Max Litres you guys have put in the tank? I have put in 44.X Litres a few times!!! pretty close calls!!!

I win...
My last fill was at 629.3 km's, and I used 44.2 liters to fill.. That works out to 40.2 MPG per Canadian gallon, or 33.48 per US gallon. Most of that mileage was driving on the highway at about 70 to 85 miles an hour..( only got pulled over once..) If I had driven the speed limit and taken it easy, I could have significantly raised that number on the highway...
If I ever get less than about 530 km's before the fuel light goes on, then I'll be very surprised. I could get 650 to 700 km's if I emptied the tank. My economy is always over 30 mpg and closer to 40 beating the car up around town, but my wife drives pretty easy. Mind you that's offset by the very short trips she takes, and the fact that the car usually driven mostly cold about three times a day.
I on the other hand drive the car pretty hard ( poor car never knows what to expect, but probably likes Cathie driving better..) so this is a combo of easy and hard miles.
The real kicker is that I get this kind of mileage on REGULAR GAS! I save a bunch on the cost of gas as well as how much of the golden stuff I use. My emissions are also at least a third lower than they were as well. Just the thing to give me a little room for modding and still pass aircare..( Like Cathie would let me mod the car... HA!..) The car goes very well on regular.. I'd say better than it used to on 92 octane. We have taken on a new additive product as a distributer and so far..Yahoo!!! I am going to invest in another dyno session to see what my horsepower is now. My butt dyno say's that it's still pretty good.
Can anyone beat 629 km's on 44 liters of gas? That's almost Civic mileage ( well not quite..)
