I wanted to purchase a type-r cluster for my 95 ls.
I wanted to figure out if I needed a certain cluster...

Is it even possible to use a 96-98 (obd2a) cluster in an obd1 96 ls ?

I am thinking its the same thing... Just 94 & up works all the same ?

I just need confirmation.

 

I believe 98 or 99-01 clusters have diferent circuitry for the ABS indicator light. I'm certain that its difernet, what I'm not certain about is the year that it changed. Everything else is the same.
