B17A (?) was the 2nd generation Integra GS-R engine. Iirc, it was the very first VTEC engine Honda ever made.

It is up to you man. If your funds are limited or not would be a big factor. You need to do some research on the b18look into cams Crower or Crane make some pretty good ones. If you want to go all motor or turbo? You need to decide what you want out of the car then take the steps to get it there. If you have the money and you can buy another engine I would look into something with VTEC. With a GSR (b18c1) or a Si (b16a) engine when you modify it you will be able to get more power for your money compared to the LS (b18a). Again figure out what you want and don't just throw parts at your engine find out what works and go with that. Good Luck.

whoa whoa, lets fix this:
1990-1991 b18 = 130hp OBD0
1992-1993 b18 = 140hp OBD1 better cams and ecu programming
1992-1993 b17 = 160hp OBD1 second vtec brought to the US and only 1500 shipped
but yes definitely a good engine!

i just want to know where should i start putting my money

if you're going allmotor, i would replace all the seals and replace the internals like cams, valve springs, retainers, P&P, bump up the compression
