ok well this guy at work has been drivin this '85 prelude around. about two months ago he blew the headgasket. so the car isnt running so swell. plus the battery is dead, and the radiator hose is busted. but other than that the car has like 225k miles on it. . .and it was running. . but he doestn want it anymore obviously, and he said hed sell it to me for 75 bucks. . . now 75 bucks isnt much. . for a car. . is there anything even worth scrapping or selling on this car? i mean if anything i could use it to take apart and rebuild get some experience out of it. . hehe. . but i searched and didnt find anything about these years. ...what do u think??

 

Well, it would make a good beater. I own an 86 base myself with 235k on it, and she still purrs fine. If you fix those problems, im sure it will continue to go until the motor starts knockin, in that case, get rid of it. Just my .2

I'll take it too. Unless the engine is completly blown, $75 is a steel no matter how you look at it.

 

Hell, tax, tag and title will probably cost you more than the car at that price...I'd buy it too.
