ok i am getting a code 43 and i dont know why my egine light comes on only after about 10-15 mins of steady driving. The code is fuel systems malfunction but if you look at a code sheet that shows it, its only on a d15b3 or something to that effect not quite sure but... my question is has anyone ever encounter this code and if so what did you do about it any info would be welcome

I see in your sig you have a Z6, correct? also, what ecu?

anyways, I have a b18b in my crx SI that throws code 43 also...nobody could give me an answer except that it is the fuel supply system...I knew that though. I thought I couldn't get tthat code either...but ever since I put in a Jackson (walbro 555) fuel pump I throw it...

good thing is I have had no problems after driving for like a year with it.....except that damn yellow light is SOOOO annoying.

well i have the p28 ecu if that helps anyone, but i think it may be from my V-AFC but im not sure i all i know is that it comes on when i have been driving for about 10-15 minutes steady and it seems to bog till about 4000 rpm and then it takes off. if that sounds like anyone else has the problem let me know

yeah 43 is very common with ls/ef swaps .. dont know why.. i tore my car apart 10 times tryin to figure it out. its been discussed here before.

Perhaps you require a resistor box. I too throw a code 43...but also a code 16. I am running PL-8M 550 RC Injectors and they require a resistor box....I did not know this. I think I will have the problem resolved. Also, I have changed my 02 and fuel filter and the problem is still there. I think the resistor box will solve the problem. Why don't you try it out and see if it works. I have been busy lately so I have not had time to install it. By the way, if you do get one, ensure that you completly understand how to wire it up...other wise see you later ECU!

 

i have a 90 teg with a b20 and i also throw a code 43. i have no idea why

 

i got a 94 dx witha a zc and i throw the same code as well. i just made a post about this a few days ago. i went through the hole fuel system replacing **** and i still got it bogs like hell under 4000 then pulls fine . im hella pissed
