valentines arent worth the money. there like 350+

I got a Cobra 9200 on ebay for 60 bucks refurbished and I have not gotten one ticket yet. Gives me plenty of warning going 100+, has a sweet light display and noises to let you no. Best money I ever spent

I am also a big fan of the Escort 8500. I think its the best window mount out there. If you really want to go all out, the K40 w/ laser defuser is also worth the $1200 or so you'll spend on it, they'll actually pay for your tickets in the first year!

The debate continues. I started to say v1 or 8500, take a pick

But the v1 is better.

see, i dunno if it's worth getting cuz.. if your doing like 60 in a 30mph zone and you fly by some cop.. your alarm won't go off. But he'll still pull you over and give you a ticket right? Or he needs proof that you were speeding to do that??? I'm thinkin about buyin the passport 8500

Look at the K40. They give you a 1 year speeding ticket guarantee.

The first requirement is they be able to gestimate your speed before they use radar. They use radar to confirm their gestimate. Police are trained to gestimate speed. In traffic court it is the proponderence sp? of the evidence. Which means if you say you didn't and he says you did the judge decides who is more likely to be telling the truth. Which of course is always the officer, it raises money for the state why wouldn't they choose the officer. My belief is that in traffic court you are guilt until proven inocent.

My choice on radars would have to be the V1.

that sucks, so maybe its worth it, if you going like 10 over.. where you have enough time to brake when you see a cop and drive the speed limit. Most ppl around here drive 5-10 over the speed limit.

I'd either go with the V1 or the V1 but if you're trying to save a few bucks go with the V1 or..nah I think you get my point.
