Default benefits? tilton single disk - or fidanza and six puck unsprung?

i bought a fidanza aluminum flywheel and action 1md 6puck unsprung for my b18c-r a few months ago, but i never installed them.

i am planning on dropping the tranny soon and i am wondering if i should run a tilton single instead... i am alittle worried that the engagment of the action 6puck will be alittle harsh and i read that the floating disk is better in that respect.

does anyone know the total weight of the tilton six puck and flywheel combo, erics racing says the flywheel weighs 8.6lbs but im sure the clutch and pressure plate is lighter than the action units.

could i safely run the dual disk on the street, will it wear faster or something? my setup should be around 210whp w/ toda a's and itbs.

i am not satisfied with the stock cluch and i am not as concerned with the cost of the clutch as i am with the cost of replacing tranny internals. thanks in advance

Get ready to shave the tranny to get the tilton to fit and noise everytime you step on the pedal.

i know about the noise and shaving the case.

drag r, when are you planning on installing it? do you know anyone else using single disk?

does anyone know if the double disk is streetable? i auto-x, alittle roadracing and drag, but alot of street driving in this car too.

i need to make a decision before i decide on installing these other pieces, im having second thoughts, i can still sell them as new.

i run unsprung street disk for about 14-15k miles... somewhere along that

i think it does places more wear on tranmission.. maybe not by a whole lot.. springs do their job of reducing wear, but i didn't want springs as i was sick of sticky pedal and whatever else comes with springs.

i didn't go with 6puck because less material = faster wear.

I have the Tilton in my Civic. Noisy as hell when you step on the clutch-get really funny looks in the In-n-Out drive through

The flywheel is light as can be, does not even feel like 8 lbs.
Feel is close to stock, but the release is more on/off than stock. The clutch is either engaged or disengaged. I went with a single organic disc, on ERE's recommendation for the street. Can't tell you about the dual disc, but good luck.
