Default My new project......

well guys, i've been out of the import scene for a while now. i still drive my 98 prelude with i/h/e, but the turbo's off and i've sold most everything else i have too. now i've shifted a little toward classic cars. i've had a thing for old vettes forever and i recently got the opportunity to own one. now i've got a 1964 corvette coupe that i'm in the process of swapping a 2001 ls1/t56 into. here's some pics of where i'm at now. not too far into it, but i got done pulling out the 327/4sp. last weekend and now the fun begins. just let me know what you all think and i can keep everybody posted if there's some interest.

here's a link to some pics.

take it easy,
andrew

The LS1 with T56, custom wiring harness and cutom chipped and tuned ECU is only $6500 from Speartech. I'd say a nice condition '64 C2 with a 327 was pretty pricey. Good luck on that swap. My roommate and I are going to be dropping an LS1 into a 91 camaro here in the near future. LS1 > me

Coup, sadly, and the cake eater wants an automatic . He doesn't know anything about cars, but he likes to go fast and I always want to do projects like this with other peoples' money .

DOH!!! auto takes out half the fun unless it's built and you're a dedicated drag racer.
