well i was thingking of putting performance shocks and spring to make the ride a little better and perform better. so i guess is it would be like and all and all question.
bump! so anyone have any idea whats the best way to go. my friend told me about tokio gas shocks while the other told me to go with kyb. not sure which one would make the best handling suspension shocks
88 HF rear suspension differs from 89-91
KYB doesn't make rear shocks for the 88 HF
Go with Tokico Blues and Eibach proKit's-Not too low, not too firm, just sporty

tokiko blues, hmmm sounds good. do they make front and back. and whats the best lowering spring to match that? i just got my crx two weeks ago and it was already lowered. it seems like the previous owner. went the ghetto way of lowering the crx. spring was cut down. ouch. and also. coils or spring?
I have KYBs GR2 all around on my 88 crx (had to change rear lower control arm with 89-91 crx/civic. Front struts im using 89 accord(more travel) Thats with Skunk2s coilovers and now i did red bushings all around including rear trailing arm bushing. I didnt drive the car yet. Next week i will drive it, should be big differance. I post next week how is the suspension.
Guys who did rear trailing arm bushings. It was hard
to replace it but worth it. Now i kick the rear tire and it doesnt move at all before it had play in it.
So if you mess with suspension replace all the bushings with poly...

You can buy any companies rear shocks for you car..
You just have to order integra type R shocks..
I am runnin bilstien shocks, on my 88 CRX.
88 fronts, type R rear
and I get them at dealer price..so its not so bad.
